Official 50th Anniversary Giveaway Rules & Regulations

1. Eligibility & Service Area The “50 Years of CMS” Giveaway is open to legal residents of Massachusetts who reside within the CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling standard service area. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and the legal homeowner of the residence where services will be performed.

• Commercial Exclusion: This contest is for residential properties only. Commercial businesses, industrial facilities, and landlords requesting service for commercial rental units are not eligible for entry.

• Employee Exclusion: Employees of CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings), and household members are not eligible to participate.

2. Account Standing & Right to Disqualify CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual or deny any entry for any reason. This specifically includes, but is not limited to:

• Outstanding Balances: Customers with past-due invoices, outstanding balances, or accounts currently in collections with CMS are not eligible to win until the account is brought into good standing.

• Good Standing: Any entrant found to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or who has a history of abusive or threatening behavior toward CMS staff, will be immediately disqualified.

3. How to Enter & Bonus Entries No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

• Standard Entry: Homeowners may receive one (1) entry per month by completing the official entry form on this page.

• Customer Record Entry: By submitting the entry form, you agree to be added to the CMS customer database. You acknowledge that accurate contact information (Name, Address, Email, Phone) is required for prize fulfillment.

• Bonus Entries: Additional entries will be awarded for specific actions as defined in monthly promotions (e.g., leaving a Google Review, following social media channels, or participating in “Interactive Challenges”).

4. Prize Limitations & Fulfillment

• Service Radius: Service-based prizes (e.g., maintenance, tune-ups, installations) must be redeemed at a residential property within our standard service territory. If a winner resides outside this area, the prize is forfeited.

• Scope of Work: “Free Maintenance” or “Tune-Up” prizes cover standard labor and standard filters only. Any required repairs, parts, fluids (refrigerant), or additional labor identified during the maintenance are not included and will be quoted separately.

• Non-Transferable: Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Privacy & Data Usage By submitting an entry, you grant CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling permission to add your contact information to our internal customer relationship management (CRM) system. You agree to receive future communications from us regarding your entry, service reminders, and special offers. We will never sell your data to third parties.

6. General Conditions This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Google. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless CMS Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling and its respective platforms from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.
