High Efficient Boiler with Indirect Water Heater

The customer called after losing all heat and hot water in his house due to his boiler failing. His old unit was actually shooting flames out the from and was unsafe to run. Of course, this happened right after Christmas, so he had a house full of family. His old pumps were corroded and in dire need of replacement before they were the next thing to fail. Boiler installs should have proper isolation valves to allow for faster and cheaper repairs in the future. When done properly, it saves from having to drain the entire system for a standard service. The customer was interested in a new high efficient gas boiler to be mounted to the wall. In addition, he wanted to get a new indirect hot water heater with the stainless steel lined tank. This HTP tank comes with a lifetime warranty on that amazing liner.

Along with upgrading the customer’s boiler to a more efficient boiler, we also updated his ventilation to meet the Massachusetts code. High Efficient boilers are no longer able to use PVC to vent out of a home. This is due to the PVC companies from taking responsibility if the PVC were to fail at any point due to heat. CMS Plumbing and HVAC ensures to meet Massachusetts code so your home is kept safe. Our commitment to quality doesn’t stop at installation. We provide ongoing support and maintenance to ensure your system operates at peak performance. Our team is always ready to answer your questions and provide expert advice on how to maximize the efficiency of your heating system. After removing the old system from the basement and cutting back all lines to raw copper, Sean and his team got to work. A boiler install is like a work of art where they must design how they are going to utilize the space. From where the water supply comes in, to where each zone pump must be with isolation valves, to where the zone control will mount, and everything in between. Having a well skilled plumber to install your boiler is what makes the difference from what’s above, to a wall of spaghetti.

CMS has been installing boilers for 50 years, and each unit we take as new challenge to provide our customer’s with a new solution that provides them a design that utilizes the space as efficiently as possible. Ensuring that not only does your new system look great and run efficiently, you want a company that will ensure that everything is installed properly to meet Massachusetts code to keep you and your family safe. If your boiler needs to be replaced, don’t stress, you’ve got CMS.
