The customer called us out for a no heat call where his boiler was not firing to provide heating and hot water for the home. His standard efficient, floor mounted, gas boiler was on its last leg. Our technician was able to do a temporary fix until our home comfort specialist could make it out to go over the options. The customer was interested in a new high efficient gas boiler to be mounted to the wall. In addition, he wanted to get a new indirect hot water heater with the stainless steel lined tank. Along with changing to a high efficient gas boiler, he also wanted to change the current ventilation. His old boiler vented out the back of his house, right near where they spent time with family and friends relaxing on their patio. When the boiler would be running, they would catch a smell of exhaust from the vent. This unfortunately made the outdoor space less appealing because of the gas smell that they would experience while out there. CMS made sure that the new system would also help with making the outdoor space more enjoyable for the customer.

After removing the old system from the basement and cutting back all lines to raw copper, Sean and his team got to work.
